Telemedicine Walk-In Clinic Located Inside the Pharmacy.
What is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine connects you, through live video, to a doctor, improving community access to health care. A telemedicine visit is like any other doctor visit, except with telemedicine it is a live video interaction with a doctor over the Ontario Telemedicine Network. Just like other doctor appointments, it is private and confidential, and will only be seen and heard by the health care professionals involved.
Does Telemedicine Cost Me Anything?
Telemedicine is part of Ontario’s publicly funded health care system, and services that fall within this system are fully covered.
The College International Health Insurance Plan (CIHIP) for International Conestoga College Students is also accepted for visits at our clinic.
Telemedicine visits ensure that everyone has easy access to the best possible care when and where they need it.
All Ontario patients are entitled to a live video doctor visit through the Ontario Telemedicine Network, however not all cases can be fully assessed via Telemedicine.
